Kelly paints a North Downs' Zoo sign - good job!
Dumbo is made of 4 painted oil drums, some spare fabric from the County Show, an old tumble-drier hose, an old bucket, and the base of a Wilkinson's BBQ! His squirting nose was powered by a large petrol pump, which was borrowed from a boatyard (other uses include pressure-washing, and refloating boats that have sunk - so very powerful!)
Carl paints Daisy's leg - she's being turned into a Zebra!
Rosie puts her GCSE Art to good use, making the giraffe's head. As traditional with all North Downs animals, it has a big cheesy grin!
Sam uses old pipe insulation to make Daisy's front legs - nice thinking!
Rosie adds the finishing touches to Daisy - nobody would know that, just one day earlier, she had been a cow and not a zebra!
There is much relief when, against all expectations from those 'in the know', the raft floated!
Police answer bizarre reports of an elephant swimming down the river towards Maidstone town centre...
Final touches are added to the raft in Maidstone town centre, including Kelly's sign, and the willow trees
