After-show party
by Stephen Paine, Events and Social Officer

2007
This was our second after-show party, and without doubt our best yet! The ceremony, a tradition inherited from our days as a school club, is an opportunity to celebrate another successful county show, to thank those who have helped us out, and to give people the awards that they won. As per usual, many extra "fun awards" were given out - full list below.
Young farmers gather to receive their awards
As well as the award ceremony, and a chance to see our 1st place display board, the party had a massive BBQ (kindly supported by Coburns, our local butcher), a brilliant disco (many thanks to Will Leaves, County Vice-President), camping, and lots of fun games (the garden and games donated by Lottie's parents).
People pyramids..
Can they get another row on top?
Guess not!!Ouch!
This year's party was also special because it was a joint leaving party. Although it became apparent, as the evening went on, that Lottie was actually no longer leaving - she received word that she had got a job in Kent, starting in September. Oh well, any excuse for a party!
Nic reaches a new low. Or is that a new high?
