Dairy Day 3rd April, 2007 After a delicious pub lunch, several North Downs' young farmers were treated to a tour of Nick Leggat's dairy farm in Thurnham today. Nick introduced us to his herd, and told us about how the dairy business has changed over the years. We were shown his cute, new-born calves, and then given a tour of his milking parlour - where Andrew very kindly let us have a go! Thank you very much to Nick for kindly giving up his afternoon for the young farmers - we all had a fantastic time! Photos:
